We just purchased this very rare 2011 Freightliner Sprinter 2500 Reefer with a Mercedes-Benz Turbo Diesel and all the right options. It can haul loads of fresh or frozen goods and should get about twice the miles per gallon compared to your current van or pick-up. We have decided to use a buy-it-now/best offer sale, and have set a very reasonable price, so don't wait too long or it will be gone.....you won't find another one like it. We have over 1000 positive feedbacks, and have been doing this longer than most. Now for a few details. This truck was previously owned here locally and used for delivering subs and sandwiches. It is a 1-owner truck out of Lebanon, PA and was traded in on a new one at our local Sprinter dealer by the original owner. We were more than happy to bring it home since we love local, 1-owner trades. This is the 3rd one out of this fleet we have offered for sale, and all the previous purchasers have been well pleased. As you can see in the pictures below, this is the 2500 series with the high roof and 170" wheelbase along with an 8,550 LB GVW for plenty of capacity. If you are at all familiar with the used truck market, you'll know that this is one of the hottest vehicles on the market today. With fuel prices as volatile as they are, efficiency is always on everyone's mind. This Mercedes Benz Turbo Diesel has plenty of power and great efficiency as well. The Sprinters are extremely smooth to drive, have good of power and torque, and to find one set up as a reefer is pretty tough to do in the used market. We think this configuration is tough to beat and you'd be hard pressed to find a more functional truck...we buy every one we can get our hands on. Reliability is also exceptional....we've seen quite a few with 300k-400k miles that are still going strong!! This one is set up with a fully insulated body and a Thermo King V300 MAX Reefer Unit mounted on the front. As we mention above, this one also comes with electric standby so you can plug it in at night and keep things nice and cold. We do not make any claims as to achievable temperatures or best uses....that's up to you to decide. However, everything seems to work as it should using the controller mounted in the cab. Normally these trucks are driven until the wheels fall off since they are so expensive to set up like this from new. However, that's not the case with this one....it's very clean inside and only has 121k miles. Mercedes Benz has been building these since 1995 overseas where they are extremely popular. In 2001, they made their way to the USA as a Freightliner. It didn't take long for them to catch on, and now you see them just about everywhere. They are very hot in the used market and difficult to find, especially in decent condition with low miles like this one. The visibility is superb and the on road manners certainly have been influenced by Mercedes-Benz....in fact, many of the interior features feel very similar to a "C" or "E" class Benz! It is a pleasure to drive and comes with all the necessary interior features to keep you happy behind the wheel. It has Power Windows, Power Locks, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, and even Traction Control. Everything you need, nothing you don't. The first owner has paid all of the initial depreciation hit, so you have the opportunity to make a great buy on a great truck. You will obviously find a few chips and marks from regular use, but you'll have to look long and hard to find many. Overall it is very clean and looks exceptional in our opinion. The interior is also clean with no holes or tears in the upholstery. All of the interior features appear to function normally and it drives very well. Please keep in mind that we are still selling it 100% AS-IS like we sell all of our vehicles. The Title is clean and there are no signs of accidents or other issues. You can drive it home when the auction ends and put it to work making money the very next day. It is sitting on size 245/75 R-16 tires that have 30% tread on the front and about 30% tread life remaining on the rear. It is within its current service interval and also has a current PA state inspection sticker.
