If you're on the hunt for a great 911, take a LONG look at this extremely clean and well kept '89 Targa! 30,000 Original miles, original paint, a nearly perfect interior and covered in a crisp white topcoat--this car turns heads. Not only is the paint original it's in fantastic shape. There are no real marks, scuffs, dents or dings, and it shines beautifully. The Targa top is one of the nicest we've seen with no warpage at the leading edge and no discoloration. The front and rear spoilers are factory installed items here, as are the Fuchs wheels. The driver seat looks like it was used for 3,000 miles and not 30,000. The passenger seat appears completely unused. That's almost unheard of for a pair of sport seats...and the leather is amazingly soft, too. The carpets had floor mats down from day one and are extremely clean. The original Blaupunkt Reno radio is in the dash and working. There are no modifications, no warped dash, no grungy steering wheel--this 911 is a time capsule. Mechanically the original engine is in perfect condition. When it came through the doors we could tell it was time for a valve adjustment, and we went and did a complete 30K service with new fluids, filters and belts. We replaced the age-hardened oil suction hose and a cam oil line, the only points of leakage we found. The G50 transmission shifts perfectly and clutch takeup is right where it should be.
