1969 Jaguar XKE E-type Coupe Red with tan interior. Numbers matching. Car owned by a local enthusiast who has spent much time having the car tuned and doing various small projects to the car to make it nice. Things such as replacing all the window gaskets (which sounds simple but it is a very time consuming job and something that is usually not done on an old car), he ordered a new back cover for the rear spare tire and new rubber gaskets for the metal stripes that go on it, the cover still needs to be recovered. They also put on new plug wires and a new coil, they rebuilt the carbs, put on new brake hoses front and rear. In addition there are many receipts from the previous owner which are for tuning up the car, putting on a fuel pump, brake booster rebuild, lower ball joints,rear brakes, clutch slave cylinder, rotor and caps,spark plug wires,upper and lower ball joints,tie rod ends,replace all coolant hoses,put in new transmission mount,put in new ignition switch. The car has been cared for and is nicely sorted out. So there is no confusion, there are some photos that show the car with eared knock-offs, they are no longer on the car, the correct hex nut type series two knock offs are on the car as show on the photos taken inside. The current steering wheel is the one shown on the shots taken inside. If you have any questions please let me know.
