Vehicle Detail

Ebay closed the Auction because of payment terms. I used a word they don't allow. I have driven the bike less than 300 miles a year for the last 7 years only on sunny days. I am not a collector, I bought it to replace a Sandcast I sold in 1971, and I do like to show it off. It's home is a dehumidified garage. For a detailed description of a Vic World Sandcast restoration please visit, Vic World Motorcycles web site.My Sandcast comes with everything Vic provided on delivery day which includes, a copy of the original contract, unopened can of touch-up paint, Original new condition owners manual and shop manual. I have a clear title in my hands. The bike was originally manufactured in November 1969, and first titled in 1970.I is in excellent condition. It has a current NC licence and registration that is good till 05/31/2016. There are no dents or dings and you can hop on the bike and drive it across country tody if you like. If you have question please ask me. My reason for selling it is that I am retired and am cutting back on my expenses. The Sandcast is available for local pickup and inspection. You may arrange for another shipping method at your expense. Payment is $500.00 deposit within 3 business days of auction close. Balance is due within 7 days days of auction close.Acceptable payments are Cash, Certified check Deposit will be refunded if you are not satisfied when you pick up the bike. It is a used motorcycle and there is no warranty. I have only used Non-Ethanol 93 Octane pure gasoline since mile #1 in this bike's gas tank. Oil and filter have been changed @ 500 miles and again @ 1000 miles. The motor was broken in correctly by me from mile # 1. there are 2 Sandcast recessed ignition keys A couple of things.First my auction was closed because I used a word that was not allowed in the payment options.Second I am answering all sorts of questions when that I check the box to appear in my auction none of them show up.Here is just one example: Hi Joe, When Vic World builds a bike he considers every factor to make it as original as possible. If you notice the SN# of this bike it is a late Sandcast build (09/69). Vic tries to recreate how the bike would be deivered to the Honda dealer in 1969 based on the SN# and build date. Even though this is one of Vic's earlier builds (2008) the frame and engine SN# were of a later model run. Notice also that the motorcycle also has HM300 pipes. These were used on the very late production Sandcasts. I realize that many people try to cash in and decieve folks with Sandcast this and Sand cast that. There is Nothing on this Sandcast that has been altered since Vic built it. That is why I am offering to refund the deposit upon inspection after the sale,, because I know it is the real thing. In person it will amaze you. That is why the Honda Musem has a Vic World restoration on display. They could not find a Sandcast CB750 anymore correct in detail or condition. Thanks,Rich Third I am getting all sorts of offers to sell the bike in emails which is against Ebay policy and I don't want to get my auction closed for violations again, so please refrain from any offers until the auction has closed. Thanks. If you don't have a trailer for hauling and want me to drive the Sandcast to your location, I might consider a last Swan song ride up to about 500 miles. I am not a dealer, or a broker , or a resaler who bought this Sandcast for an investment. Owning this bike was a dream come true to me. It replaced one that I reluctently sold 44 years ago. I paid Vic $29,500 to build this bike for me and another $1000.00 to have it transported to NC. It was everything I thought it would be. Now I am retired and it's time for someone else who has the means to live their dream. My bike no longer has 1896 miles on it. I took it for a 14 mile ride through town today. It now has 1910 miles. I am closing the auction later on today or tonight. You can still bid and win the bike. I kinda decided to keep it.On Apr-13-15 at 19:09:45 PDT, seller added the following information: I said that I would close the Auction Today and I am keeping my word. It appears that Ebay no.wathn member has met my opening bid price and is the winner. We will see how it all works out. Thanks to all for your interest.Rich
