I have a silver 2003 Mustang Pony Edition for sale. If you are unfamiliar with Pony Edition Mustangs, they are a premium coupe variety that includes larger chrome wheels, hoodscoop, Pony decals down side and on door handles, while still having the same drivetrain as a base model Mustang. I've had this car for about 6 months and I've had a ton of fun with it, but I just got married and I'm thinking something more practical would make sense. In addition to wanting something with 4 doors, on my last trip to Las Vegas from Scottsdale, the motor started making a strange knocking sound and I haven't been wanting to drive it since. We took it to a shop and were told that it's possibly a wrist-pin knock, but the mechanic wasn't really sure. As it stands, though, the car still runs perfectly fine, has full power and everything. The AC blows cold while it's charged, but seems to have a bit of a leak, and the CD player is jammed. I'm probably making this car sound worse than it really is, and honestly it wouldn't be very difficult to get it all fixed up and right as rain, but my apartment completely prevents me from doing any work on my vehicle (won't even let us wash our cars -- seriously), and I'm not the biggest fan of mechanics, so since I was planning on getting rid of it for a Camry or Accord or something, I figured I might as well sell it. I won't lie, there are a few mechanical issues with this car; but it does run and drive just fine, and without tearing apart the engine it's difficult to determine the source of the noise. With a little work, this would be an excellent car for someone who likes the '99-'04 body (I think it's great looking), and would like an upgraded package without having the down sides of the V8.
