The BMW e30 is a true "driver's" car because of its size, responsiveness, and style. This car takes everything about the e30 and kicks it up a notch. Performance is enhanced by replacing the single cam engine with a twin cam M50 engine from 1995 325i. The entire drive train has been replaced: engine, transmission, and diff. A quick ratio steering rack from an e36 makes the car super responsive. The remaining systems were upgraded to handle the increase in power include H&R sport springs, Bilstein Sport shocks/struts, adjustable sway bars, etc. It took well over a year and a lot of passion to put this beauty together but the result is a wonderfully well balanced machine with plenty of power. It drives really well, I easily took it up to 100mph on US-27, just di dnot want to push more. All $$$ invested in this car exceeds $20K and I will let it go for much less. I purchased the car without my wife's knowledge and could not convince her to keep it, so no I am selling the car to keep the wife.. (hope i am making the right choice) The engine, tranny, and diff came from a 95 e36 sedan with 95K mi. The chassis has approx 110K mi (the odometer broke around 95K mi when doing conversion). "Sorry about the light" meant there was no enough light in the garage.2. The warning lights box above rear mirror is disconnected and in the trunk.3. The "back dings" refer to the cover hiding soft top.4. The "handle to open the hood" is to open the soft top cover. :) It works but needs to be replaced with the new one in the trunk.
