Vehicle Detail

1984 911 "Turbo Look" Coupe in Metallic Paint to Sample Paint to sample “1 of 1” Marble Grey Metallic with full leather black interior. Only 354 “491’s” were manufactured in the first year of the factory wide body. Options include lightweight sport seats limited slip differential sunroof heated and tinted windshield Blaupunkt Radio “Monterey" alarm system steering wheel w/raised hub short shiftspeedometer w / 2 scalescruise Controlblack rooflinerturbo lookother factory options refer to COA Fully documented from new; original sales invoice and registration, 50+ service receipts. Engine reseal, newer clutch, brakes, suspension and refreshed transmission. Many other items replaced as well. Period correct multi piece 16” BBS RS wheels. Upgrades include 930 oil cooler, H4 lights, Alpine audio system (have OEM radio) and B&B exhaust. No accidents and excellent Carfax report. Exquisite condition of both the exterior and interior. MSRP of $50,000, including $10,000 for the M491 option. Represented as mechanically excellent with no known issues. Highly collectible and one of the more desirable and appreciating air cooled 911’s. Undervalued compared to the 4 speed 911 turbos with huge upside potential. All books, records, keys, COA, tool kit and spare tire. Recent fluid service and fresh stone guards replaced during presale inspection by local P-car independent shop.On Feb-27-15 at 06:19:08 PST, seller added the following information: The sale includes the original owners manual, service book, promotional material, approximately 6-7 keys (as pictured) as well as the factory correct Monterey SQR23 radio and manual. Additionally I have the cars original bill of sale, initial registration and over 50 service receipts for many of the items listed above. The winning bidder is also free to speak with the independent Porsche shop that performed the major work, including the engine reseal. There are many, many other items replaced, upgraded, etc. that are not mentioned above. The car is a turn key example and needs nothing but a new driver. On Feb-28-15 at 17:25:36 PST, seller added the following information: I have had several inquiries regarding the 16 year old incident (1999) listed on the Ebay autocheck report. It is described as an incident to the "rear center." In all likelihood either the center reflector was cracked and/or the engine lid scraped. Every panel on the car appears to be original to the car. All gaps are correct. There is no evidence of bodywork, filler, etc. Both the exterior and interior are in impeccable condition; I would rate the condition a 9.0 and possibly a 9.5 out of 10. I want to be as transparent as possible. A 20,000-30,000 mileage garage queen would command $75,000+ and wouldn't necessarily be in any better condition than my car. Driven less than 3,000 miles per year average and with the work completed as listed above, this example is primed for another 30+ years with minimal expense and huge upside pricing appreciation. The eventual high bidder of this Porsche (assuming the reserve is met) will be a very satisfied owner.
