For sale is a 2006 Ford F250 pickup. This truck has only two main options: four-wheel drive and the Powerstroke (6.0 liter) diesel engine. Other than that, this is a bare-bones truck, which, to me, makes it the perfect work truck. It has a single cab, manual transmission (6-speed), a vinyl floor, vinyl seats, and manual roll-up windows. It is mechanically excellent, and has been meticulously maintained throughout its short life. It will get 20 miles per gallon on the freeway (60-65 mph) and tow whatever you want; I've used it to pull my hotrod on a trailer (5000 pounds) all over northern CA, and it has no problem whatsoever, thanks to nearly 600 pounds-feet of torque. The truck runs cleanly and efficiently. The transmission (and clutch), transfer case, and axles are all in excellent condition. Nothing leaks, and the engine does not burn a drop of oil--that's saying something for a diesel, especially one with 175,000+ miles on the odometer (and counting). In the last year, the following has been added/replaced: tires, Bilstein shocks (4), Bulletproof EGR cooler, batteries (2), outer tie rods (2), steering box (Redhead), front brake rotors, and probably some other stuff I'm forgetting. Again, this truck has been maintained very well, and runs like clockwork. More importantly, no stupid modifications or tuners have been added/used.On Feb-10-15 at 09:46:46 PST, seller added the following information: The body is great overall, and has been repainted at some point (not by me)--when the truck is clean, it looks brand-new. The interior has no rips, tears, or cracks. The windshield has a bullseye or two, but they are not in the main viewing area. The bed has been used for work, and the wear can be seen on the inside (not re-painted); tailgate operates fine. The bed has a fiber liner (just the floor) and a gooseneck hitch that can be removed easily with a lever under the bed. The stereo is a fairly recent Pioneer, with CD, flash drive input, and Aux-out.To clarify the price, note that the Buy It Now is set at the reserve. This is below Blue Book pricing.
