- Rust around front of quarter panels. This isn't uncommon for this year. I haven't seen any rust around floor panels or underneath car. - Paint clear coat peeling around hood area - Michelin X Radial tires (rated at 80,000 miles) with approximately 70% tread left. - Good alignment. Drives straight. - Driver's side seat needs to be replaced or could be swapped with passenger seat. - Unmodified stock Honda CRX HF engine . - Doesn't burn or leak oil. Always use Castrol High Mileage oil and changed every 3,000 miles - 25 year old car so there are signs of wear on body and interior - Engine starts up and runs great - Downshift light works but wire was cut on upshift light cannon plug behind clutch pedal. Micro-soldering could fix it. - There is a minor parasitic electrical drain that I cannot locate. I just disconnect the negative battery terminal when the car is going to sit for a few days. - Seatbelt light blinks when car gets over 20mph. Door open light usually stays on. It is probably a solenoid that is stuck or needs to be replaced. - It could use a tune-up but I still get 36mpg city and highest was 42mpg. - Doesn't smoke - Timing belt has 15,000 miles on it. It has a slow 0-60 time and doesn't climb hills like a V8. Someone who is a good mechanic and can do interior and body work could get this car in like new condition and sell it for $5000 when gas prices are higher. I've taken very good care of the car even though it isn't the prettiest thing to look at. It was used as a daily driver and never had any problems .
