1947 First Generation Civilian B-1 Power Wagon. This truck has spent most it's life in the dry Eastern Oregon desert and is in great condition for it's age. Body: Body is in great condition as you can see from the pictures. All front sheet metal is in amazing condition for a 60 year old truck. The only cancerous rust is 2 small areas where the kick panels meet the floor, and back edge of the cab where it meets the floor. All easy areas to repair. Bed metal is in great condition. Bed wood needs replaced. The tailgate that is seen in the pictures is included with the sale but it may not be correct for this year of truck. I do not have running boards for the truck but I do have 2 fairly complete parts trucks that I will be selling after the completion of this sale. Engine: I have recently had this truck running and driving around the ranch with an electric fuel pump off of a gas can. It ran and shifted well. It is not currently plumbed to the fuel tank and would need some work to be a runner. However, engine is complete. Started fine and ran good with no smoke. Drivetrain: Drivetrain appears to be in good functional condition except for brakes. Brakes would need to be serviced to be functional. Tires will need replaced but the wheels are correct for this truck. Transmission and transfer case all shifted fine. The winch system is complete and is correct for this truck. As you can see from the pictures this truck is very clean. Local inspection is welcomed and encouraged. Please ask all questions before bidding. I do have an Oregon title in my name. I added more today 2-16-15. At the very end, there are 2 sub files. One named-- RUST --shows detailed rust spots in the kick panel and a thin strip at the cab backside where it meets the bottom. The next sub file is-- PARTS TRUCKS-- which are only being offered for sale for a short period of time to the winning bidder at a negotiated price. If not purchased, their next up for sale. Please explain that to your shipper, that they will need a winch to load. The Power Wagon Does Not start and drive as sold here in this sale. I uploaded a video showing it running and driving, forward and reverse, winch running out and in, only so you can see it does work. I did by adding a battery and an electric fuel pump and some bypass wiring to show it runs FOR THE VIDEO ONLY. I took those items back out after filming today. It's sold without the battery and fuel pump. It's missing the Battery and fuel line from the tank to it's fuel pump. Also missing the regulator on the firewall. NO BRAKES. This gives you something to do so it feels like you made it run and drive.
