Selling my sweet little rat rod ford f1 short bed pickup truck.Ill start by saying its a blast to drive,people sure like it.It has a strong running 283 chevy hooked to a turbo 400 trans that shifts so easy its hard to tell when it does.It starts right up and runs like a top(motor has around 20k miles on overhaul).Being a rat rod it has all the dings and bumps that you would see on a rat rod,still it turns heads when you drive it around.It has all the rattles a 67year old truck has,but is solid no less. The body is all steel with a little patch work on the back of the fenders,and someone long ago chopped the running boards,but they are solid.The cab has had no rust through,and is very solid in the floors.The wing vents are cracked,most are,the other windows are good.The bed has been replaced with a new custom made heavy gauge steel floor that will last forever and it looks great.The tail gate is all so new,custom made, and super solid.The doors are solid, shut good and tight,and the windows roll up and down ok. In the last year this baby has had new brakes,shoes,lines,master cylinder,wheel cylinders and it stops good like they should.It has had a new radiator in the last year(3 core all aluminum)looks great, with new hoses.It had new u Joints when the brakes were done.New fuel pump,and a new alternater,and battery with in the last year.The king pins were replaced in the front end.I forgot to mention it has a ford 9 inch rear end.The gas tank was replaced with a new one some years back.I am sure I forgot some of the work that has been done to this beauty and I am not trying to say its perfect in any way its 67 years old, but all in all there's been a lot of work done on this truck,and it has come a long way,to maybe be your great little rat rod ford truck.The shipping will be the responsibility of the new owner.I will help in any way I can with loading and will work with your shipper.Please ask any questions,316 992-4700 I will be happy to answer them.I would like a deposit through paypal of $500. within 24 hours and full payment,on the day the truck is loaded for shipping.I would prefer cash payment.I reserve the right to end this auction early as truck is for sale locally.
