Up for auction is this 1966 Pontiac LeMans 2-dr. It has been in the same family since new - stored inside and running up till 1999. It has the original 326 V8 with Auto transmission, power steering, factory A/C, factory bucket seats & console. It is currently not running but I think with fresh battery, fuel, carb kit, plugs/wires/points it will. Due to sitting, it will also need brakes. Overall, the body is in decent shape. It has had one re-paint many years ago due to some light damage to the driver side. There is some cracked filler on the left rear quarter (see pics) from a poor dent repair. The right quarter has a small amount of rust down low but that is the only place I feel will need a patch panel. There is some rust scale in the trunk floor as well as the front floor pans but they seem structurally solid and look good from underneath. I'm sure once they are media blasted there will be some pin holes and may need some small patch work. Nice hood, roof, deck lid, fenders & doors - grill & front bumper are very nice. Rear bumper got bent as we were unloading it. It has the original wheels with roller quality tires. All 4 hubcaps are in good shape, spare and jack are in the trunk. Has the original 1966 Owners Protection Plan book and metal PROTECTO PLATE!! The seats are in good shape - very solid, not rusty but will need recovered. I removed most of the carpet and sound deadener to get pics of the floor pans. Very nice dash, console is complete and in good shape. Side and rear glass are good - windshield has a BB hole. Vehicle is being sold AS IS. Buyer responsible for transportation. $500 deposit due within 72 hrs of sale end - balance due upon pick up or within 7 days, whichever comes first.
