This Galaxie XL was originally made in a rare color combination of silver blue exterior with red interior. It came with factory air [which was under dash in 64], 390, Cruisomatic, PS, PB, PW, PS. I have collected extra convertible only parts as I was able to find them. There are also some coupe pieces mixed in as it has an XL coupe parts car included with it [if you want it]. This parts car is not at all complete but does still have some usable pieces on it [quarters, trunk lid]. If you don't want the coupe parts car you don't have to take it but I thought I would include it for someone close by. If you opt not to take the parts car there will be no price adjustment. If you opt for the parts car you must take the whole thing. The parts car has a later disc brake setup. Most of the hard to find convertible pieces are there and there are duplicates of many. All XL side mouldings are present. Large pieces missing are: Rear bumper [there are 2 fronts], rear seat backrest and the passenger door panel. Of course the will be small items to find, but the extra parts should offset the cost of some of those. The frame is solid with surface rust only and will need a small repair to the front horn gusset due to a tow chain being hooked to it. This is easy to fix. There are also some new parts included [brakes, shocks, gaskets, see pics], and an excellent original convertible top switch that I paid $85 for [there are two top switches]. The AC under dash unit, condenser and compressor are present. I believe it to be the correct deluxe unit. Motor, trans and chassis should all be restored as with any car this age. Front sheet metal is loosely attached for pictures, as are the doors. Wiring is included but I would replace it. All parts will fit inside to ship. This is an almost rust free California Galaxie XL to restore. One original California black license plate is included. Clear California title on Non-op. Rolls fine. Will assist in loading.
