Offered for sale is my 1996 Candy Spectra Red Honda GL1500 Aspencade. I purchased it in August of 2009 from the original owner with about 20,000 miles on it. I added a few upgrades to this machine which include a front fork brace, progressive front springs, highway pegs luggage rack, back rest and a few pieces of polished aluminum trim. I added road lights to the lower fairing, lights to the saddle bags and trunk as well as replacing the rear center reflector with a lamp. I added the “Memphis Shades” windshield. I added a trailer hitch to it, but only pulled my empty trailer around the neighborhood a couple of times to see how it behaved. I have NEVER pulled a loaded trailer with it. It has decent tires on it, however Goldwings are very hard on tires and these are starting to make a little noise when riding two up. (I think the edges are starting to feather a bit.) In anticipation of pulling a trailer, I put fresh factory Honda brake pads on it last spring. It had to have a battery last summer too. I rode it a few miles today and as far as I know, everything seems to work fine. For those of you that don’t know much about these machines. I weighs about 900 lbs. It has electronic cruise control, air ride in the rear with an on board compressor and push button controls. I do not NEED to sell it, but I don’t use it like it was meant to be used any more. I hate to see it set most of the time only to be pulled out for the occasional day trip. I will include 2 helmets with the “Bluetooth” “Scala Rider” intercoms. (The factory wired intercom has never been used.) I will also include a service manual. The price is not negotiable. It is what it is. Like I said, I don’t need to sell it. Maybe someone else would like to enjoy it for a while yet. The trailer pictured here is not included in this sale. If you choose to purchase this machine, when you pick it up, I will offer you the trailer for one whole dollar.
