Up for auction is a 1968 Chevrolet Caprice. The Caprice is located in Rockdale, Illinois The vehicle was seized from a habitual traffic offender who advised he was the original owner. The Caprice has been awarded to the Rockdale Police Department. We have a clean Illinois title for the Caprice. The owner advised that the Caprice was driven a couple of times a week locally over the past several years. The Caprice runs and drives well. The battery does not hold a charge but once jumpstarted the Caprice remains running well. We have had the car since June of 2014 when it was seized. We have ignition and door/trunk key. There is damage to the passenger side that looks like something was sideswiped. Please refer to the pictures as they are of actual vehicle and better show the condition of the Caprice.
