Very reliable car for the 11 years I've had it. The engine and transmission have been removed but are included with the sale. IT WILL NEED TOWED, FRONT WHEELS ARE OFF THE CAR, as are the front hubs/knuckles/half shafts. Many new parts come with the sale. Last spring I decided to replace the clutch, timing belt, water pump, and whatever else it needed. The plan was to complete it by winter as I had a baby on the way and needed a good 4 door for the winters. I had other projects to complete on the house before my son was born and this got pushed to the back. I then decided to trade my Mustang for a Mazda 3 as a family car was more practical and I no longer had time to complete the Protege' before winter. The rust seen in the engine compartment is mostly surface rust. The Timing belt, tensioner, spring, and water pump have been replaced. it has new lower control arms and inner tie rod ends installed as well. the following parts are new and have yet to be installed. Complete clutch ignition wires thermostat alternator heat shield various bolts outer tie rod ends oil pan gasket exhaust manifold gasket intake manifold gasket cam cover gasket Tires have low miles on them. there are more items that come with this car. the new parts alone cost over $500. The interior is in good shape, no tears in the cloth, or dash. It could use a good cleaning though. LOCAL PICK UP ONLY! Again it must be TOWED.
