I have my 98 cherokee up for sale. It's clean for being 17 years old. It has the bulletproof inline 6 cylinder, 4.0 paired with the legendary aw4 automatic transmission. It has the np231 transfer case. This is the best 4x4 system in my honest opinion. This jeep goes through it all, thanks to the epic 4wd capability of jeeps. This SUV has 162xxx miles. These 4.0's are notorious for going 300,000 miles.... Features: Cruise, power windows, power locks, power sunroof, luggage rack, aftermarket CD player with USB input, power mirrors, and many more creature comforts. In the last 3000 miles, there has been a ton of upgrades. New cooper all terrain tires ( $500) New(used) limited wheels ($200) New shocks ($150) New catalytic convertor ($210) New muffler ($100) New radiator ( $150) New mopar crank position sensor ($90) New alternator ($75) New transmission oil cooler line ($40) Previous owner put new ac components in about 5000 miles ago. This jeep needs nothing to be a daily driver. I've been driving it daily while trying to sell a different vehicle. Just thought I'd try to sell this one instead. Cons: like all jeeps, there is a small oil leak from the valve cover. There is a small chip in the windshield that has been repaired. There is minor rocker panel rust, easy $100 fix. I just haven't done it yet.
