This is an original 1969 Mercury Cougar XR7. Factory original 351ci engine and FMX automatic transmission with 3.00 rear axle. Factory Air Conditioning and all of the components are in place. The original carb was rebuilt within the last year. It starts up good, runs smoothly and idles the way it should. The body retains the original metal and it has never been painted, plus it is straight overall. The transmission shifts into the gears as it should with no known issues. The power brakes work and the steering wheel is tight. This has not been on the road in a couple years and the tires are old, but they do hold air. The electronics work, as do the lights. The headlight doors close when you start it and slowly open awhile after turning it off. I don't have time to restore this XR7 and I've owned it for a few years now. The interior is original and in place. Trunk is solid. The floors are very clean and solid. I have a pink California title with it. No accidents ever at all and all the body panels are original to this Cougar. If the title is processed in the California dmv system it will come back salvaged because years ago the title was lost. Any other state it will retain its clean title and its also fine for export. I have described it the best I can and I took about 40 pictures to show it better than words can describe.
