Vehicle Detail
1968 Camaro SS This has all the proper SS drivetrain - 12 bolt posi, Muncie 4-speed VIN will verify it is a V8 with manual transmission Drivetrain IS ORIGINAL, as I have $6000 in receipts for work done to suspension & steering because this car was driven to shows (and little attention was paid to the actual drivetrain) All is well after 6k. CAR STARTS, RUNS, DRIVES PERFECTLY Motor may be a crate engine as I am not able to find block numbers, engine displacement is unknown, it has headers, manifold, carb, cam, typical stuff and runs good, makes good power, but has rear seal leak that will need attention at some time. A 1968 350 technically could make it "numbers matching" I also have $1300+ more in receipts for replacement parts & work, fuel pump, etc. & MUNCIE IS FRESHLY REBUILT. Hurst shifter also replaced new. Trunk is clean and solid, still has factory speckle paint. TIRES ARE NEW white letter BF GOODRICH T/A RADIALS with less than 400 miles. (pics were taken just before tires put on.) I am 4th owner, Car purchased from 3rd owner in Sept 2010 in Colfax, MN who stored it & trailered it to shows Car was restored by 2nd owner in 1980 Front emblems show 327 but was all they could find in 1980, I now have the proper 350 emblems Odometer/speedometer shows 92k but is not working, I have put approx 800 miles on it in local driving Seats have been reupholstered with black vinyl & yellow crushed velvet, quite well. Please dont ask for tons of ridiculous pictures, I am not readily available to drive out to storage. It is what it is and is worth the money, if you have any doubts, make an appointment to look at it before auction ends. Ford Walker Heacock Classic Insurance put a $25,000 value on this car Reason for selling: I am downsizing space & expenses at my age so I am selling some of my cars. Check my other auctions as I have a 1976 L-82 Corvette Stingray and a 1975 Pontiac Trans Am 6.6 for sale. I reserve the right to cancel auction at any time, bids or not, as this car is for sale locally may become unavailable.
