1976 Datsun Fairlady Z280Z**This is a new posting. I am sorry for any inconvenience, I was having issues with the old post. I will consider all reasonable offers.** Today I am posting my beautiful classic 1976 Datsun 280z. It is hard for me to put into words just how great of condition this car really is; but the car I'm sure will speak for itself. This classic Z was produced in 1976, which makes it nearly 40 years old! But, with that being said, it still stands strong beside modern vehicles on the street's today. The car's original qualities have been well preserved, both cosmetically and mechanically. To my understanding I am currently the third owner; With two very caring Nissan enthusiast owners before me. The car was sold to me by a friend living in California, where the car has spent most of its life, before being transferred here to Henderson, Nevada. My buddy's grandfather was the owner before him. Making him the original owner. This car has been very good to me, as I have been very good to it. But it is time for me to part ways with it. I have a recently become very interested in purchasing a close friend's 1988 BMW M3, and with that being said, this the only reason the car is up for sale. This car has been mechanically sound. I drive this car on the weekends and never have any issues. Even recently took it on a trip to California and back and it was great! This car is original and has very few flaws, considering the year: Paint is in great condition with one or two small flaws; Interior is also in great condition: black carpet, dash board, leather seats, headliner, etc. Engine bay shows just how well this car was maintained in its years on the road. With only 71K miles of easy driving. All gears slide in smooth with no grinds and no slipping. Oil changes done every 2000 miles. The car has not leaked a drop of oil in my garage. And has a very clean undercarriage. AC components are still intact and functioning, but will require a re-charge to blow "ICE" cold. I would love for this car to be passed on to someone who will take very good care of it. With that being said, please only inquire if you are serious about purchasing the vehicle. Don't let this beautiful classic pass you by. This classic 280z is a very hard to come by in this condition, especially at this great price. Thanks for your consideration! Recent maintenance:The car just had the brakes done. The master cylinder/ brake booster are also new with paperwork. The car also has a completely new wiring harness with receipts installed by Decatur Auto Electric, LLC. I installed new Alpine Spa-5000/SPS410 speakers as well, and they sound great on a nice long cruise. The car passed smog inspection the last time I took it in, but is now registered as a classic vehicle, meaning the vehicle no longer requires a smog check. All Interior functions inspected, no issues were found. All lights are working. Everything under the hood checks out as well as the transmission. Tires have 80% tread on factory rims. Important information:Rust is a big concern with these cars. The car was inspected and showed very little rust. And what was visible was corrected! Other two spots one on each front fender about 2.5" long on the bottom sides. All spots were on the car before I purchased it.Spots were sealed to stop the chance of rust spreading. Just never 100% removed the spots on the fenders. But other than that it's clean. It's a big plus that I'm located in a very dry climate like Nevada, which makes it hard for rust to accumulate. The only other down sides to the car that I have found include(s): The rear hatch lock sometimes doesn't function correctly, Passenger side wind shield wiper is missing, Small pressure cracks on both a pillars (normal with these cars, shown in photo bucket link below), and The front right headlight could use replacement (just a little dim).
