I have a Green 2004 Jaguar X-Type 2.5L 5 Speed (manual) AWD that needs work. The car broke down on me in August 2014. I need to sell this car as it sits and as it is. The engine runs very strong. I've done most of the maintenance on this vehicle since I bought it and drove it for about 100,000 miles. I never had any major issues until the clutch went out in August 2014. New brake pads were installed and have less than 5000 miles on them. Features: JTIS Service Manual on CD. (The CD is in the glove box). 2 Key Fobs (For some reason they aren't working...batteries may be dead? The one I always used was working in August 2014 so my guess is the batteries in the key fobs.). Leather Seats (Very good condition) Jaguar Floor mats (rubber is good but the outdoor carpeting came unglued on the drivers side so I just took the carpet piece out). Automatic Windows and Locks Tinted Windows (NC Legal) CD / RADIO with Phone Optional (not installed) Installed Garage Door Opener (from a Jaguar S-Type that had a sun roof so there is an extra button that does nothing. The color of the plastic is a ??? Light Brown ??? Not sure really what color it is) Major Issue: - Needs a new clutch Minor Issue: - Needs Parking Brake Repaired (I think the caliper pin needs cleaning very easy to fix). - Small dent on passenger side front door. - Small dent on Rear side panel left side - Small (rock? hole) on rear bumper - Front bumper is attached but attachment bolts are missing on front driver side (I think this is the problem). - Clear coat starting to peel on engine hood, not very bad but visible. - Wouldn't hurt to replace the tie rod on the driver's side at some point; not a major issue. - I've experienced an occasional issue where all the warning lights will come on while driving and when I shut off the car it will not turn over. To resolve this I simply reach under the steering wheel to the left of the clutch pedal and wiggle the wiring harness. Problem goes away. Apparently this is a common issue with this model based on google research which led me to this solution. Please don't hesitate to ask questions. I will try to quickly answer them all.
