Selling my 2002 Grand Prix , it was bought for my 16 year old to use in May 2014 , used until new year when the head gasket blew . Body and interior are in decent shape for the age of the car , seems a shame to scrap it . The car is currently inspected until July and was in good working order . Car was completely serviced when we started to use it . Quite a few new parts were installed : rear brakes and rotors , rear seat power window motors , master cylinder , brake line from abs to rf caliper , transmission cooler lines , battery , cooling system ( radiator , hoses , overflow bottle , thermostat ) headlight lenses . Car wasn't acting like head gasket problem ( white smoke ) until the new radiator was installed . Aluminum wheels decent tires . Air conditioning will work with a new compressor . Would like to get 800 for it because the scrap value and parts installed . Car runs and drives however the plate and insurance have been already transferred to a new car .
