I am the second owner of this late 1999 Jaguar XJ8.The paint is original and in fantastic shape.There is a thumb sized area on the front bumper that has been touched up as well as a 2 inch scratch next to it.The rear bumper has a silver dollar sized faded spot as well.There has been no bodywork done on this car.The interior is near flawless,no cracking or fading of the leather(most Jags of this era have some wear on the drivers seat,but these had covers for most of thier lives)The carpets are as new and the burl wood is stunning.Only Rolls and Bentley can match this level of interior craftmanship.The key fob will not unlock the doors(but the locks and alarm work perfectly)The day/night mirror function doe not work properly.This interior shows almost zero wear at all..This Jag is from the Ford Era,it starts,stops,shifts,steers and goes down the road as a proper Jag should(that is silently powerfully and like new)the ac blows ice cold and there no leaks whatsoever.This is a low mile original car that was babied,stored indoors and always serviced at the Jaguar dealer in Palm Springs,Ca.This car is a sweetheart that has a lot of life yet ahead of it..No excuses and no disapointments.There is no substitute for original and unmolested...Thank You!!
