up for auction is a 1955 chevy nomad that has been stored for almost 20 years.car has not been wet in that time.car has 84000 miles on odometer. the roof has no rust at all,paint still in good condition,only scratches.doors are rock solid,they open and close great.car has a seamless frame with no damage only surface rust.hood is solid and straight.fenders are solid,left fender has had some dents in lower part,but was repaired in past.inner fenders are in great condition,dash is complete[untouched] comes with 2 keys,all locks work great.quarters have a few small dents and some minor bubbles[not bad for age] tail gate is complete and solid [needs 1 cable cup and retainer] it has 2 small dents on outside and a small area of rust on inside[no rust out] original tailgate bars and handle have some pitting[driver quality] lift gate has 1 small crack on inside where hinge has hit it in past[not bad] all threaded holes are good, it does not have a glass,but other than that it is complete.all other glass is in good condition except for left rear curved glass has a crack.front seat complete but needs covered,rear seat still has waffle pattern material but needs to be cleaned up.i have all kick panels, door panels, inside quarter panels, which have all trim including all waffle trim still in tack,there is no cargo stainless.spare tire well is in good condition just some surface rust[no rot]bumpers are fair but need to be rechromed, one rear bumper guard needs to be replaced other is in fair condition.headliner and bows are still in car need replaced and rechromed,still has coat hangers in place.car comes with right and left eyebrows,one fender spear, right and left door spears.all will need some repair and replating.radiator support is in great condition[uncut] radiator looks to be good.firewall uncut and in good condition.no motor or trans,but has side mounts.no headlight buckets,or parking lights.original rearend in car[370 ratio]fuel tank looks to be good.vin and id tags still in place.open title in hand. floors will need some pans replaced[I have3 new pans[surface rust from sitting]pans under rear seat will need to be replaced.i have 2 floor braces, all will not need replaced.left rocker has a small rust hole ,I have new right and left rockers for car[again surface rust on then] cargo area will need to be replaced,rear seat top back attaching point will need repair[I have the extra bracing for this area] inner rear wheel wells will need some small repairs.i have tried to describe the car to the best of my knowledge.if you need any more info or pics email me or call at 423-432-2061 before 10pm eastern time. do not bid unless you are serious and have the money to pay cash[no exceptions]you are welcome to view car for yourself,car is located 20 miles north of Chattanooga tn. these cars in this condition are real hard to find and they are very rare, restored or restomod could bring 50 to 80 thousand to the right buyer. 1000.00 deposit when auction ends to paypal,cash only on pickup[no exceptions].delivery available for $1.50 loaded mile in enclosed trailer. all sales final no warranties.thanks for looking,good luck
