1999 Daihatsu Hijet

This item is being relisted due to a non-paying bidder. The out of state bidder contacted us but never came through with payment or shipping arrangements. You are bidding on a VERY UNIQUE, AWESOME little truck! It is a 1999 Daihatsu Hijet 4x4 CREW CAB DECK VAN Mini-Truck with 5-speed manual transmission, Air Conditioner, Heater, Radio. This truck is in good shape and will make an AWESOME hunting rig, farm truck, or toy for someone. The truck currently has 155,775 km (or approximately 96,700 miles). I looked long and hard for this combination! It was not easy to find. You have the benefit of a crew cab truck with a bed! There is a TON of room in this truck as you can see from the picture. The back seats fold down to make a flat floor. This model has a lot more front leg room than most of the other mini-trucks as well due to the design of the cab. A/C blows cold, and the heater is nice and warm! The AM radio works but sometimes cuts out. The little truck runs GREAT! It can easily haul four hunters and gear and still have room for the deer or cooler in the bed. The truck really is in good condition inside and out. The paint is in decent condition. There are a couple of spots that have some very minor surface rust. The bed is in good condition. These trucks come with some sort of protective coating in the bottom, and as you can see from the picture, it has flaked off in a few places. My plan was to clean it all out and put bedliner in it. The only noticeable thing is a scrape on the right rear that is pretty minor and was there when I got it. I have owned the truck for a couple of years and simply do not use it enough to justify keeping it. It is sold with a bill of sale as these are not titled in Texas. Payment is due within 5 days of end of auction. Buyer is responsible for pick-up or arranging pick-up around College Station, TX. I can store the vehicle as long as needed as long as it is paid in full. Payment is by cash or cashiers check only. Payment with cashiers check will have to clear the bank before pick-up due to all of the fraud with cashiers checks these days.
