Vehicle Detail

--- NO RESERVE!!! --- I know you think this Chevrolet has a ton of miles, but if you look at this vehicle in person you'll think it has less than half of that. I promise!!!!! Please humor me and read on. I'm a very firm believer in FULL DISCLOSURE. Test drives are welcome, and I do NOT want you to show up with any negative surprises. We're just minutes off I-85 half way between Atlanta, GA, and Charlotte, NC. It is ~2.5 hours to either one from here. Clean, clear title in hand. When we bought this vehicle a year and half ago, we didn't mind paying a little extra for it as its in immaculate condition, especially for its age. Save a couple little stains on the headliner, the interior is in near-perfect condition, with brand new rubber floor mats installed for Christmas. No smoke smell or pets. A common issue with these style Blazers is squeaks and rattles, and this one has NONE!!! Not even the interior plastic. It has the ZR2 package, which, if you're not familiar, is similar to the Z71 package on the GM full-size trucks. This is an extremely rare Blazer as it has a manual transmission, NOT an automatic. It gets what I listed below + extra braces on the manual transmission/transfer case. SUPER solid vehicle will easily double its current mileage with regular maintenance! It runs smoothly and quietly down the highway; drives and rides GREAT! The tires are 31" x 10.50" Mastercraft Courser AXT all-terrain tires. While they wouldn't be the greatest mud tires, they did GREAT in the 1 big snow we got last year. I was quite impressed with them to be honest. The tread is in excellent condition, as I believe they have between 5,000 & 10,000 miles on them. The exterior is in great condition as well. I would list it as excellent, but there are a few little scratches in the paint and a couple of paint spots missing on the fender flares (see pics). The lower part of the body has been coated with bedliner in a flat black color with a slight texture to it and it looks really good. (Sorry for taking pictures before the vehicle was completely dry, as it shows some dark spots in the coating, but you do not see them when its dry). We planned on coating the fender flares with it but just never got around to it. The rear tire swing-out mount, off-road light (hooked to reverse lights), front bumper, grill, and bull-bar are all coated as well. None of it is peeling. Also, the flimsy standard bull-bar has been reinforced and is now quite sturdy. This vehicle has never left the South, and it shows! There is not a spot of rust or dents or dings ANYWHERE on this truck. And while you can see a few light scratches on one of the fender flares, I don't believe it has every actually been off-roading. There is no mud or dirt underneath. We've used the 4WD around the yard a couple times, and the 4x4 works flawlessly. Drop it into 4-Low and it has crazy torque! It has a great receiver hitch and is wired for towing a trailer, which we've only done a couple of times. The engine was replaced ~4,500 miles ago, last May (see complete history as far as I know below). I bought it from a speed shop in Charlotte, North Carolina. He built it with flat-top, hypereutectic pistons and a high-flow oil pump (he said it helps the longevity as it flows lots more oil at start-up). He gave us an unlimited mileage 1-year warranty. I started running synthetic oil after the first oil change, and as it is breaking in is getting more and more power. It was rated at 190 hp stock, and I'm sure this motor is that or more. You can see from the parts list I spared no expense on buying all high-end high-quality replacement parts to last a very long time! The air conditioning blows VERY cold air, and the heat will burn you out of the thing. The vent openings are tight enough to stay in place to wherever you aim them. Pics show an amp and subwoofer in the rear of the vehicle. Those will be removed prior to sale, or negotiated otherwise if you want them. But as of now, they are NOT included in the sale. The wiring kit for the amplifier (4 Gauge w/ large, waterproof fuse) will stay in place if you want it to. The new JVC head unit will stay in the vehicle, as will all 4 new Kenwood speakers we installed recently. Also, see the pics, we installed red LED lights under the dash and around the rear speakers. The red LED's are on their own switch and can be turned off or on at any time. Looks really trick and are not so bright that you can't drive with them on at night. ALL factory interior lights have been replaced with very bright white LED lights. The map lights are ridiculously bright. The lights on the front bumper are ProComp 5x7 rectangle 100W off-road lights and are VERY bright. They are on their own switch as well. The headlight bulbs have been replaced with aftermarket bulbs that are a brighter white color instead of the OEM yellowish color and look and work great. Now for the few downfalls of the Blazer, the bad...It has a slight oil leak where I apparently didn't get quite enough silicone in the sharp corner between the oil pan and block on the front of the engine. I will be fixing that at the next oil change (in about 1500 miles). The vacuum canister was apparently removed sometime, so i installed a new one, but I've not gotten around to mounting it yet. You can see it sitting on top of the engine behind the throttle body.If you fill it all the way up with gas, you can smell gas fumes OUTSIDE the vehicle for a couple of days. There are no leaks that I've found. The gas gauge doesn't work. As you will see below, the fuel pump has been replaced, so I think maybe the shop that did the work didn't get it in quite right or forgot to hook up a ground wire or something. I've just not had time to drop the tank whenever its been empty to look into the issue. We just put a note on the dash to fill it up by 250 miles on the trip meter. For some reason it has been starting a little hard lately. While we put a very high-quality start on it, the newer battery is quite cheap and likely needs to be replaced. Or it could be related to the fuel pump, but I don't think so.The parking brake is kind of weak, likely needs new pads or adjustment. The release spring on the parking brake always releases the brake, but doesn't always get the pedal back up far enough to turn of the "brake" light on the dash. Just have to push it down all the way and then release it again and it will go off.One of the bars on the top of the dash over the defrost vent is cracked, but you can't notice unless you look for it. I have some more pics, but I have all the eBay will allow. We're selling this vehicle because it was intended for our new driver, but he wants something with a little better gas mileage. I hate that he doesn't want it, but I sure don't need another vehicle around... I love driving it and hate to see it go! Winning bidder to pay $250 non-refundable deposit within 48 hours; complete payment required within 7 days unless arrangements are made otherwise. Paypal accepted, but will accept a little less if you pay cash! I'm not going to ship this vehicle, but I'll work with you on meeting you somewhere if need be, and can work on delivering within a day's drive for a price.
