1959 Chevy Apache Pick up Model 31 Has a good running 283 2 bbl. with the original 3 speed on the tree. Not sure if it is the original motor or not. I know some did come with V8's Runs good and clutch feels full. The body is in really nice shape with the worst being the pass step as seen in pic. A 300 pounder jumped on it and it separated from the body. The pass door bottom has some rust but only about 1" up. Under side of truck has some rust but not to bad. Rust hole at pass. floor about the size of my fist, up high on the toe kick is punky, some around the step mounting area. The frame is very nice. The original wood bed is still there and rotted, the previous owner covered it with plywood. Bed support rails are good. It does need some work but you could certainly drive it the way it is. Interior is complete and original. Not all gauges work. I would say it needs a restoration. It has been sitting for about a 4 mos. and today I went out to move it and the brakes went right to the floor. So as of now it does not have brakes. I will try to get that fixed. I have the new master cylinder. Not installed yet I am looking for cash money at time of pick up or wire transfer. This car will not leave my property until I have money in hand. This is a complete Apache that runs and drives. Yes it needs some work but the truck is a real nice, restoration candidate that you can drive as you play. The body is really straight and only minor rust. The worst exterior work is the bottom, 2" up, on the pass. door. Floors need some small flat patches. No big deal I did get the master cylinder that I haven't put in yet, no time, but it goes with the truck. No brakes right now.
