1970 Cadillac DeVille Convertible, an original California car that still retains its original blue and yellow License plates, car is currently registered and because of the year will never need to have a smog check in California. Buying an original California car you get a car that has never been exposed the east coast elements or salted roads, the extreme cold really takes a toll on a classic car. Clean California title, original owner’s books and custom fitted car cover. There is just over 102000 miles on the car. The exterior of the car is finished in its original color combination of Black/black and it is the original color dictated by the paint code of 10 on the trim tag. The paint is very nice receiving and bare metal re spray, all trim was removed prior to painting so there is no overspray on these items the repaint was $7400.00 and done in 2001. The sides are very straight, there is no rust issues in the car, fit of doors, and trunk, hood and top are excellent. The black convertible top is in very good condition and fits very well, it does operate smooth up and down and there is a black boot cover that fits over the back when the top is down. All stainless is complete and in good condition, grill very nice, bumpers are presentable there not peeling but not new chrome, rear bumper has a small ding. Rubber weather stripping is good with some just being replaced. The black leather interior is original and as seen in the photos is very nice, the seats are not dried out and the foam is not hard, there is no foam from the padding falling out on the carpet, the black carpet was changed a few years ago due to sun fade, dash has no cracks as well as the excellent door panels front and rear. All gauges are working, all lights, signals and horn is also working, Power seats, and windows are also working correct. It is an Ac car and complete and blowing but due to non-use over the years is not blowing cold. The original radio is still in and does work. Trunk is original and includes full size spare tire, and jack. Original owner’s manual is present. The 472 Motor is the original one and the car runs very nice, recent service including a rebuild of the carburetor, lines, belts, etc. There are no leaks, no strange noises or smoking from the car, the transmission shifts nice and there are no leaks to that either. Brakes and suspension also in good condition as well as exhaust and exhaust manifold gaskets.
