The ’66 model year is considered a significant one for a very good reason . . . 4 2 7!! Although this was the second year for the big block engine, it was the first year for the 427ci big block. It was also the first year you had your choice of either mild in the form of the 390hp hydraulic lifter engine or wild which got you the 425hp solid lifter engine.

You know what they say . . . "All Corvettes are Red". Well, maybe, but there are exceptions . . . This example comes in the unusual and rare color of Mossport Green over Dk. Green interior. It's a sharp combination that always generates positive comments and discussion. It also features the "wild" 427/425hp, (N.O.M.) big block with the M-21 close ratio 4-spd transmission. Other options include, side exhaust, Teak steering wheel, am/fm radio & power windows. It was owned by a local collector client of ours who liked to drive his cars. This one's no trailer queen, but it looks and sounds great and runs like a champ! This is a Corvette that you will want to drive!
