• 1992 Mercedes Benz 500SL • Great color combination - silver with light gray interior. • 154K miles.• Car runs perfectly. Starts first time every time.• Very cold air conditioning.• Transmission is perfect.• Drives straight, true and smooth. • Brakes are very good.• Tires are fair.• Both tops are in good condition. Soft top goes up and down with no issues.• Interior is in good shape. No rips, no tears, no stains, no cigarette burns.• All body panels are very straight and the gaps are perfect throughout.• Never been hit, not even minor bumps. I don't think it even has any door dings.The only things wrong with this car are minor cosmetic issues.• The wood veneer panels behind the door levers are peeling.• Small plastic part that holds the passenger visor is missing, probably a $5 part.• Some peeling paint on the drivers side mirror.• One of the small back windows in the soft top has about 8 inches of stitching come loose.• The switches on the drivers side door work sometimes. I have the part and it goes with the car.I don't have time to fuss with the car, work takes every minute of my time. If you're at all handy you can have a solid Mercedes Benz 500 SL for not much money. I bought this from an architect several years ago but I just don't drive it anymore. These cars love to be driven and it needs a new home. The car has been stored for over a year and I've only driven it around the grounds to keep the battery alive. The car hasn't been registered since 2013. I believe that the car has maybe an additional 100 miles over what shows. I'm posting this in the interest of full disclosure. If anybody wants to cancel their bid I completely understand.
