You are bidding on a 1972 GMC Jimmy. Overall it is a pretty solid truck that could be driven daily or would make a good candidate for a restoration. Lots of new parts and work has been done already. We're not really sure on the mileage of the vehicle as it is only a 5 digit odometer...hard to tell if it has rolled over once or twice. It currently reads 36,697. For the specifics: 1972 GMC Jimmy Custom New Dual Exhaust from the Manifolds Back. Exits behind the rear wheels. New upholstered seats front and rear. Good center console and excellent dash pad. Includes, but not installed, rubber floor mat. New alternator New stabilizer shock. New inner glove box included (not installed) Good 31 x 10.50 x 15 Tires on Chevy Rally Wheels with trim rings and center caps. New turn signal switch. (All lights work except reverse lights) Includes Bikini Top 4x4 with Turbo 350 and NP205The transmission has been serviced and re-sealed as necessary and works excellent.The transfercase has been completely gone through, new bearings as needed and new gaskets and seals everywhere.New trans/transfercase mounts 1983 Chevrolet 305 V8 4bbl. This Jimmy originally had a 350 Chevy 4bbl engine that was replaced with a great running 1983 305 4bbl. The Quadrajet was replaced with a 600 Edelbrock Carburetor. The 305 has a new distributor, wires, plugs and has been detailed. New motor mounts.New fuel pump 12 Bolt Rear end with 3.73:1 gears with new brake shoes. Dana 44 front end with 3.73:1 gears w/ power disc brakes (new pads) and power steering. Great front clip/grill with all trim. Front floors replaced by previous owner, repair looks good. What this Jimmy could use: The passenger side rocker panel could be replaced. A new replacement panel is included. There are a few holes in the rear cargo area near the fender wells under the rear seat that could be patched. A piece of new floor material is included to patch these; but has not been installed. The fiberglass top is in good shape but the rear hatch could use some repair. It does work as is but has some cracking. Could use new shocks. Windshield is cracked across the bottom.
