THIS 1957 CHEVROLET 3100 PICK-UP IS ONE OF THE FINEST ORIGINAL RESTORATIONS ANYWHERE. No expense has been spared. Take a look at the detailed photos. This is a "Frame Off" restoration and every part of the truck was either restored to "Like New" condition or brand new. Running Gear: This truck is equipped with an original 185 horsepower 283 V-8 and the engine has been rebuilt to new condition. It is equipped with a 2-barrel carburetor, original oil air breather, Remy Delco generator, and new dual exhaust. The transmission is a standard three-speed with a column shifter. Interior: Beautifully restored to original decor. Bench seat, new paint, new headliner, new door and window handles, perfect glass, all gauges function properly, steering wheel restored, new horn button, new AM/FM radio same style as original with optional 2-speaker box above rear-view mirror, all new dash levers and buttons, rubber floor mat replaced with OEM style carpet, new interior light and wiring. Body and Trim: Large wrap-around rear glass. All sheet metal is incredibly straight and no fiberglass replacement parts. No rust anywhere. Indian Turquoise is the original paint color. All chrome exterior parts were replaced, new bumpers. Stainless trim around windows is flawless and professionally polished. Rear and front glass were removed during restoration and re-installed with new rubber. Front glass is new.Door rubber is new. Paint is PPG base/clear. Bed: Bed planks are solid mahogany carefully stripped, sanded and resurfaced in a matte polyurethane finished. Just astonishing. Undercarriage: New brake drums and shoes, brake lines, drive shaft re-balanced and new u-joints, new shocks, new dual exhaust, entire frame and under body was media blasted. Frame coated in Sema rust-inhibiting matte black and all other parts finished in Sema Hot-Rod Black. They don't come any cleaner than this! Bottom Line: This is an immaculate truck being offered at a very fair price, but I'm not giving it away. I will only complete this transaction through EBay.
