This is a 1997 Buick Riviera. It has a Supercharged 3.8l. It is a mechanics special. The good: new brakes, Battery is two years old. It starts and runs great. It has remote start. The tires are fair and probably have at least another year in them.The bad: The tranny sometimes shifts hard, when it has been run for a while. The drivers side door handle is not working at all and needs to be replaced, as does the lock on the drivers side. The drivers side window is also not working. The motor is out and needs to be put back in. It works, as I had it tested. I am assuming that the switch is bad. The antenna does not go down, but is easy to replace. It is missing a Chrome center cover on the drivers side, rear wheel. It is missing some paint on the hood-see the pictures. It is not rusting, just peeling. The only rust on the car is by the rear license plate. It is originally from Florida and is very clean underneath. The Air Conditioning is not working. The heat works great. The engine has an oil leak, which I believe is a valve cover. When the brakes are applied, it will smoke from under the hood. When moving, it is fine. Please read this description carefully!! I would not recommend you drive it a long distance, as it needs a lot of work. Please do not bid on it if you don't plan on, or have the means to pick it up.
