Vehicle Detail
Up for sale in a NO RESERVE auction is my 1991 GMC 1500 K5 4X4 Jimmy with Western Snowblade with Wing Extensions!!!!! This truck was a daily driver most of its life and was never used commercially to push snow. This is a nice snowplow truck because it has a ton of power and short wheel base so it turns sharper. I hate to sell the truck because I enjoy driving it and it gets all the looks. I will describe the truck and plow to the best of my ability. This has 156,000 original miles on it. I apologize for the pictures going the wrong way. Not sure why the computer did that. The Exterior and Chassis: The exterior looks great for its age and still shines. The red paint is factory and still looks good. Everything under the trim line that is black was repainted and it does have some filler here and there as they all do. The drivers side floorboard does have a patch in it but is very solid. The chassis is still very solid. It has been under coated. New shocks, Rear Brake Lines, Fuel Lines, Fuel Pump, Rear U Joint and it also had the transmission rebuilt about a year and a half ago. This has had the add a leafs put in to hold up weight of plow. It barely moves when you lift it. Also the spring hangers are very solid. This also has the 6 lug heavy duty axles. The truck does leak a little transfer case fluid out of output seal to rear driveshaft. The part is like $30 and shouldn't take more than an hour or two to put in. You can still drive it but you have to add fluid about every 1500 miles. The transmission shifts awesome and goes right in gear. The 4x4 is very strong and goes right in high and low range. The engine is the favorite 350 5.7 V8 that starts right up and runs like new. It doesn't smoke or use any oil. It has a brand new Duralast Gold Battery in it. The engine does make a whistling noise only when the engine is cold. Once it runs for a few min it goes away. I have been told it's something to do with smog pump but it doesn't hurt anything. The truck drives pretty nice. The pitman arm does need replaced and causes some play in steering but I bought a brand new one and it goes with it. The brakes on the truck work fine. The tires on it are BFG All Terrain Load Range tires with around 60 percent left. The exhaust and muffler were put on last year. The truck also has a hitch on it. The Interior: The interior of the truck shows it's age but everything works in it. Including the rear window!!!!!! The seats and carpets have some stains and marks but hey it's a good looking work truck that will pay for itself in no time. The rear tailgate has rust at the bottom and to close it you have to lift it up a bit and it closes fine. All windows, power locks, radio, heat, ac, gauges, lights work fine. The top on the truck is removable and is in good shape. The controller for plow is mounted to center console. The Western Plow: This plow is in excellent shape!!! It functions very fast and smooth. The extensions just clip on and they are included in the sale. The headlights do not work on the plow for some reason. I just haven't messed with it. The blade is super solid. No welds, rust holes, soft spots, bends, etc. All in all this is a Great Looking, Strong Running, Reliable, Money Making Machine!!! Please read entire ad before bidding. These trucks are very sought after and getting hard to find. You must pickup the truck within 7 days of auction end. $500 Non Refundable Deposit Due within 24 hours of auction end. Payment will be all cash at pickup. I have a clean and clear title and will provide a bill of sale as well. You are buying this truck and plow in "As Is" condition with no returns or warranties. This is a used truck not brand new. I have this truck for sale locally and reserve the right to end the auction early. Good Luck!!!!
