This is a very special Mustang that carries on the great Ford Racing traditions. This Mustang has been made from the ground up from the Ford Racing division to be a competition race car. It is ready for competition in SCCA GT-S and NASA Americna Iron classes. Certain circumstances may eliminate the need to pay sales tax. Please contact the dealership for more details! I personally spoke with John at Watson Racing, who built the cars for Ford. He explained that 50 were planned but Ford pulled the plug on the last 10 because of the lack orders. The BBS Wheel Package is an optional item that you can purchase with the Boss 302S for an additional $2100, which includes 4 wheels. There is a photo of a wheel below. They are designed and produced by BBS exclusively for Ford Racing. They are 18"x10.5" and weigh 20.8 lbs each, which is ultra light for a wheel. These wheels save nearly 40lbs. of rotating mass. This race car is designed to be a true production race car. That means it is ready to race right off the assembly line. Parts can be easily obtained through Ford Racing or your local Speed Shop.
