I'm currently selling my rare 2004 BMW 545i 6speed shadowline with sport suspension. Has low miles for a 2004 and I have 2 other cars so I drive this maybe 3 times a week. The family and I have plans to move to Denver in August 2015 so I've decided to get a Audi S4 (Quattro) for the snow there, that way I can still have a 4 door sportscar. The 545i has been the most impressive car I've owned and I've owned 12-13 cars. This car has EVERY OPTION that was available except parking assist. It handles better than many of the coupes I've owned because it is equipped with Dynamic drive and Active steering which stiffens the car during cornering. My last toy was a twin turbo'd Lexus and I've had just as much fun with this car STOCK. It has a 4.4l V8 and 6 speed manual. The automatics were terrible and were plagued with solenoid issues. The 6speed manuals are practically bullet proof. The body and interior is mint. Its has Dakota leather with black sapphire paint which is a deep metallic flake. Below I will list all the options and maintenance done. ////////////////////Options _Active Steering - (you don't have to turn the wheel a dozen times to back out of a parking space) _Sports Suspension - (lowered from the factory, out corners 2dr sports cars) _Dynamic Drive - (Car stiffens up during heavy cornering, causing ZERO body roll) _Shadow Line _Logic 7 Sound System - (Has sub woofer under the seats. Have heard owners of the 2013 5Series complain that the new system isn't nearly as good)_DVD Player _Hot Climate Package - (Very rare, comes with a oil cooler system. Original owner had all maintenance done under warranty by BMW service including new Clutch. Previous owner showed me maintenance invoices for: Water pump Alternator Brakes (4 Disk and Rotors) Timing Chain Covers Maintenance I've done: Replace all 4 tires Brakes (4 Disk and Rotors) Alternator Bracket Gasket - (Infamous issue with these cars, causes oil leaks. Do NOT by a 545, X5 or 745 without this being replaced. Its already been done on this car and is good for another 100,000+ miles) Alternator Bracket Crank Case Ventilation Valves Both Belts replaced Full detail service at BMW - (2004 is cleaner and looks newer than 90% of the 2008-2010s. Body has a 4 stage deep polish and headlight lenses have a year warranty) I'm asking 12,500 or best offer. I paid $12k for the car and put way more than $500 into it obviously. It's in mint condition and garage kept. The combination of a Sapphire Black, Shadow-Line, Sport, 6pd manual, dynamic drive with Dakota leather 545i is extremely rare.
