OK The True Vin. number is WDB1260431A151100 AS PICTURED ON TITLE,DOOR JAM AND INSIDE WINDOW PILLAR . The Vin. number in the boiler plate of this listing is my old trucks vin. They do not recognize the European Vin. number .and E bay wont allow you to submit the listing without a valid Vin number . Only 96,xxx Miles on this Super Clean Unmolested Top of the line True European Coupe. The 1985 Mercedes 380 SEC EURO is arguably, the Best overall Coupe ever made. no rust, no dings,dents and I couldn't even find a scratch. less than 1,800 of the 1985 380 sec Europeans were made and 0 yes ZERO were intended for export to USA. . Mechanically a high nine ,cosmetically the same . The car is super straight and is truly a pleasure to drive . Please know what I am talking about when I say True European. notice that the bumpers do not stick out away from the car like the US ones . The reason was the 5 mph crash test imposed on all of the us cars that year, The flaws of the car are as follows......... crack in the lens of the driver side headlamp, lights still work ......Center of lower grill body is cracked. easy fix that is unnoticeable. needs new headlight wiper blades..... 2 wood grain panels have fallen off the dash. ,, there are cracks in some of the wood grain interior panels. It is currently licensed and tabbed in Washington State. I would not hesitate nor would i prefer ANY other car to drive to Washington DC right now. This is a Great Car almost impossible to find . I am listing the car for sale locally in the next day or 2 and reserve the right to close the listing at any time before a bid is made . Check blue book on this one . Must sell ,Lost storage.
