2014 Passat TDI SE, 6,500 Miles. No scratches, no dents, no scuffs on the interior, no curb rash on the rims. The car is flawless and still smells new inside. Midnight blue exterior, black leatherette interior. SAT radio, rear view camera, 6 CD changer, Ipod interface, heated seats etc. I purchased it new last December. 6 speed manual (does add some fun when combined with diesel torque). Rated at 31 city/43 hwy. I've averaged above 50 mpg (way above 50) on the highway. Over the last several thousand miles, I've averaged 39mpg in mixed city and hwy driving. Motortrend magazine also averaged over 39 mpg driving over 25,000 miles. If you have a 20 or 30 mile commute to work, you'll average in the high 40s guaranteed. The Passat has the biggest rear seat in its class and is bigger than many rear seats in larger cars. It also has a generous 16 cubic feet trunk. Why am I selling? We bought this car a year ago when my mother-in-law in Waco, Texas was very ill. (We live in Houston) More than half of the miles on the car are from driving back and forth to Waco. We wanted a large vehicle that could carry people efficiently and comfortably. The Passat fit the bill. We are no longer making these bi-monthly trips to Waco and the car sits in the garage for weeks on end without being driven. I teach at the local high school and ride my bike to school most days and we have a 3rd car that I drive locally when I have to drive. Since August, I have only put 300 miles on the Passat.
