Vehicle Detail
This is a 1963 Ford Falcon Futura Hardtop (no post). It is a running, driving project. If you are looking for an all original Falcon, this is not it. This Falcon is good for the person that wants to customize it and make it their own. You can purchase this car and do what you want to it or pay $15,000 to $22,000 for one already done. I have owned it for a few years with the intention of restoring it but have decided to buy something that is already done. I just don’t have the time for this great car. I have paid to put considerable work into this car over the last couple of years. The good: · Runs and drives · All fluids professionally changed· Brand new tires with less than 100 miles on them· Original Ford 5 lug rims have been professionally sand blasted and powder coated· New shocks· New brakes· All stainless trim is present· Futura model with no post· Bucket seats· Original center console· All original knobs except one radio knob is missing· Original radio· All glass is original with no cracks. Glass has the Carlite logo· New spare tire· The interior is in good condition although the door panels do no match the upholstery· California black plates· Original FOMOCO wire hub caps· 289 engine· Automatic transmission· Clean California title in hand· California registration paid through August 2014 What needs work: · First, please understand this car is 50+ years old so it is impossible to list every little thing that could be wrong. · Trunk lock sticks once in a while· Car has to be started in neutral· Although original, radio does not work· Surface rust in trunk· Some rust bubbles in rear quarter panels (see pictures)· Horn does not work· Passenger side does not lock. Fenders could be aligned better · Needs paint. Project car Again, this is a running and driving project car. Please don’t think you are going to drive it across country. The car is being sold as is, where is. If you have the ability to work on this car it will be a good project. The 1963 Futura Hardtop models are highly sought after and getting harder and harder to find. Here’s your chance to snag one at a lower price and make it your own. Most of these cars sell for between $15,000 - $25,000. The buyer is responsible for shipping. Please understand that I cannot meet you somewhere or pick you up at the airport. You or the shipping company needs to pick up the car where it is. I just don’t have the time… A $500 deposit is due immediately after the auction. The remainder must be paid via PayPal within 5 days.
