Vehicle Detail
This is a 1996 Nissan S14 240SX SE chassis with a 500hp RB25DET engine swapped into it. We have also performed an R33 Skyline M-spec front end conversion and as well as pumped the RB up to about 500hp! This is like the poor man's version of the R33 Skyline! and this one is legal. Here's the good.... The RB25 runs great! It has a 57 trim top mount precision turbo (no damage, no shaft play) Z32 MAF Fever Racing tuned Z32 ECU (of course, we tuned it!) Freddy intake manifold CX Racing aluminum radiator HUGE 4-core FMIC 33-row front mounted oil cooler remote oil filter AEM wideband gauge Boost gauge oil presure gauge We re-wired the EFI harness so you know that won't pose any problems! We also just installed a new N1 oil pump. It also has an older set of Tein coilovers installed along with..... Z32 brakes full adjustable suspension components front and rear urethane bushings throughout SE white faced gauges SE sunroof because it is an SE it is 5-lug already it has a VLSD in it It also has a custom 4" exhaust system and it has Z32 brakes up front The car sounds amazing! And just for fun.... We installed the R33 Skyline M-spec front end. I had one laying around here and this S14's Zenki front end was a little jacked up when I bought it so we swapped it!!!!! I think it looks pretty awesome! The Zenki S14 front end was already made into a tube front by whoever built and installed the RB25. They had done a pretty good job of making it tube front and making all the intercooler and oil cooler components fit to the tube front. So, when we performed the R33 front end conversion we only had to add the piping to the tube in a way that allowed the R33 front bumper to fit to it properly. It is all VERY SOLID! It doesn't shake around at all. When we were done, we repainted the entire car including being wet-sanded and buffed. Looks pretty darn nice. OK, here's the bad.... The S14 seats are in good shape in both the front and rear....... but the dash is shot! Passenger Air bag was blown from a front end collision into another car. The S14 front end was also damaged (that's why we did the R33 front end conversion) BTW... this was only light body panel and headlight damage. The frame is perfect! there is no a/c. No condenser, no compressor but I am pretty sure everything is there under the dash. blown dash airbags (see pictures) interior needs some love (in general), it's a 96 240SX for God's sake.... The door panels are actually nice and not ripped up. The gauges all work. But the window switch bezels and center console lid were painted white (why, I have no idea) But it is mostly there and just needs a good day of detailing! The trunk it previously had was a little bent. I had a good used SE Trunk but when we installed it the trunk is not 100% aligned. The last words.... Other than that, the car is very fast and turns a lot of heads. Most people don't even realize it is an S14. (Hey man, is that a real Skyline, yo?) Call me at phone # above or email me if you have any other questions. We can also give you a link to more pics. The cost to build this car was around $15k. There is a ton of great stuff on this car and it is fun as heck to drive, very fast! Just know that if you are expecting it to be perfect, it's not. If you are looking for something you can take from here, fix the interior up, and make it really nice.... this is it. OR.... If you want to gut the interior, add some racing seats, weld in a cage, and go drifting.... this one is 95% there. But know this, it is a good running car, handles well, hauls ass, and is tuned perfectly!
