Located in Washingtonville, NY 10992. 2001 was the final year for the Jeep Cherokee XJ. It was also Jeep's 60th Anniversary. Only 2500 black Anniversary Edition Cherokees were made making this the rarest Cherokee model. The package includes special badges, mats, monotone paint, window tint, 16" special alloy wheels, remote key entry, molded mud flaps and special seat fabric. This is a ONE OWNER, very clean Cherokee. I have the factory build sheet and window sticker. Without looking at the odometer one would guess half of what it is actually on it. This Jeep is amazing condition for the mileage. No doubt this will run till 300,000+ miles. THE GOOD: The paint is in excellent condition. Rust is minimal. All Anniversary items intact, including floor mats. Additional rubber Jeep floor mats/cargo liner as well. Blaupunkt radio/CD in working order, all locks, windows, etc in working order. NY inspection good till Jan 2015. Very recent new radiator, water pump and power steering pump. Tight steering and suspension. Jeep tracks straight at 75mph. Engine runs perfectly. Starts every time. Transmission shifts perfectly. 4wd works as it should. No warning lights. Many new parts, garage kept. Oil was changed every 3000 miles religiously, When new, was serviced under dealer service contract... everything was done. THE NOT GOOD: The A/C compressor makes a buzzing noise and the AC does not work. (New compressor is $85.00) May need rear wheel bearings or the brakes may just be noisy. Edges of brake rotors getting rusty but the Brakes work fine. The door lock remote does not work.
