Old School Custom 1964 / 1965 Buick Riviera Car was purchased from the Peterson Auto Museum. Someone donated it and I purchased it. Had my fun and I wasn’t done with it, but it must go! Details Vin Plate: 7K1078107ID Plate:4LSR526STYLE-64-4747FB11500 BODYTRIM-608 DD PAINTACC. EXT-2K-4F-52KMiles on odometer 21902, not original Car is extremely straight and rust free, except for it had a vinyl top and there is a few rust holes around the top which I put in the picture but the trunk, floors and body is California rust free and all panels original. California Auto Upholstery in Bell Gardens CA did the custom white tuck and roll with stainless steel buttons $2000.00 New custom mini white steering wheelCone center horn buttonAll white tuck in roll Trunk custom done also Suspension is custom and drivers straight look at the pictures it was over $1000.00 to bedone I did not want to bag it or butcher it, it was done by Precision Alignment & Brake in Downey CA who is known in the area as one o the best and the owner did and has owned many 1964/65 Rivieras. Exhaust is custom duals glasspacks which are extremely thin and long for clearance which was done by Allidin Muffler shop inn Bell Flower CA which again is known for hot rods and low rider custom exhaust systems, this exhaust diffenetly has the rumble sound which you know when you hear it. I tried to show the sound in the video which did not come out very good. Body work was done by Ralphy in Commerce CA, which was installing the 1965 front grill, hiding the headlight behind the front headlight grills which shines thru.Blinkers are original the 1965 Rivieras that I show with all the additional parts.Shaved side grills to give the body a longer, smoother, lower look. Taillights shaved and to be moved left and right of the lisc plate lights. Trunk lock shaved with electric solenoid already installed and working. All body work done except for the rust on the roof which was to be cut out which again is not much but we did not want to just bondo over it since we had plains to go silver metal flake roof. Wheels are the famous Astro Supremes the one and only wheels which should be on a Riviera which now everyone uses them, which was purchased in Bellflower CA. Vehicle runs and drives but leaks oil and motor needs to be rebuilt. I purchased two original factory dual quad carburetors and had them rebuilt for the motor which I was also going to rebuild the Nailhead. I have a factory set of 1964 1965 Buick Riviera GS Electra Wildcat Carter AFB Dual Carburetors 3925SA 3645SB. Fully rebuilt and never installed. These sell for $1000.00 as a match set like this, who ever purchases the car I will offer them to them first for $750.00 if not they are going on ebay which just sold a set if looked up or $890.00 with manifold $1450.00 which manifold is easy to get. I also purchased the aluminum center finned cover between the valve covers which does go with the deal and all other parts shown in the pics except the carbs which again will toss in for $750.00 for the pair. The photo of it in blue was when I cruised it a few years ago did some photo shoots, but wanted a different look. A BADASS LOOK which it is now and would be even better when finished.
