Vehicle Detail
1971 Corvette Coupe, Warbonnet Yellow, 4 speed. Car has 74,000 original miles and is equipped with the original numbers matching 350cubic inch/270 horsepower engine that has never been removed from the vehicle. It runs beautifully with no smoke or adverse characteristics. All gauges work as they should but the clock is intermittent. This is a one family owned car since new, purchased by the father and passed down to his son. Every maintenance record is available from when the car was purchased in 1971. The car was professionally repainted once in 1997 but looks like it was done just last year. The paint is a 9 out of 10 with only minor imperfections and they're difficult to see. This Corvette comes with factory air that has been professionally converted to R-134 and blows cold. Additionally equipped with power steering, brakes, power windows and tilt wheel. Also has factory shoulder belts and optional leather interior. The frame as can be seen in the picture is rock solid since the car was never driven in the snow and hasn't seen rain in 30 years. Additionally the body has never been hit. The original owner specified the economy (3.08) rear axle ratio so the car achieve 20 mpg on the highway. Sale includes the original window sticker, protecto plate and dealer sales sheet as well as an assortment of other original paperwork. The factory applied tank sticker is still on the tank. It is beautiful, reliable and a lot of fun to driveOn Dec-01-14 at 19:31:22 PST, seller added the following information: 1971 Corvette Coupe, Warbonnet Yellow, 4 speed. BEING SOLD NO RESERVE.On Dec-04-14 at 19:05:38 PST, seller added the following information: One bidder pointed out that the picture of the trim tag makes it look like there is rust there. It isn't rust it's paint overspray. Tried to add additional pictures of that area but ebay won't let me delete any pictures so I can add more above the 24 picture limit. This car is as rust free as any you will ever see. I gently pulled the weather strip back to take a picture of that too and only discovered paint that looked like it was applied yesterday. This car is gorgeous and no one will ever have to apologize or be embarrassed by it.
