Selling my freshly built 2006 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 SE edition. There were only about 1500 Special Edition Evo IX's made, making this evo pretty uncommon to hit the market. This car is capable of producing about 700awhp with a tune on race gas, engine has just completed break in stage due to being fully built & tuned professionally in town by Fusionworks racing in Wichita, Ks. The car is able to run on e85, pump gas & race gas with a tune to do so. The new engine has approximately 2,000 miles since build, the car is on a safe tune on wastegate on 16psi using 91 octane. The rev limiter has been set at 7,000rpm so that a safe break in period could be performed. The tune is a similar tune as a stock tune. 6 motor break in oil changes have been performed already & the motor is very strong, for instance, every time mileage was doubled the break in oil was changed: 50miles/100/miles/200/miles/400miles/800miles.The stock engine failed at 48K miles & we sank $21K into this latest build to get it running. No corners were cut in this build. Selling to pay for medical bills, this car is my pride & joy but needs a good home. Engine/Turbo/Clutch/Trans were Just broke in with around 2000miles of driving since build, most items listed are brand new:Vehicle for sale has low miles & has always been garaged from the elements. There is easily $30K in modifications & most mods are either brand new or in great condition with little use. Paint/clear are in also in great condition. I have multiple recent walk around videos & pulls to share upon request.The Flaws: There are some minor scratches about on every corner of the vehicle. The Racing brake pads are loud when hot but easily replaced. The AEM V2 Ecu's does not like cold weather engine starts, engine must warm up due to aluminum rods. Once warm it runs perfect. The Solid mount Rear Diff. Bushings & AMS solid mount make the rear differential fairly noisy due to being solidly mounted, again not really a flaw, just some noise. There are no fake or real Catalytic Converters in the exhaust system. Some Raamat sound dampening is installed in the rear of the vehicle, which cuts down noise, vibration & comfort, plus drivability. Fuel Level Sensor does not operate due to fuel cell in trunk. A fuel cell gauge may be added if desired. Stock fuel tank is still installed if removing fuel cell is desired. The car is not obnoxiously loud by any means.
