This is a good solid car that doesn't need anything to be enjoyed right now. She's got a total of 89776 original miles on her. The odometer was replaced recently with a digital unit and has acrued 1335 miles since. When added to the original odometer reading of 88441, it adds up to 89776. The original odometer/speedometer is included with this sale. This great '59 Chevy starts, runs, drives & stops very well. She sounds good with the open muffler and Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust extension. The three speed trans shifts well into and out of all gears and reverse. The 283 engine has a recently rebuilt 2 barrel carb and runs very well but does smoke a little bit at start-up. She tracks and stops well with no drama or issues. The floor & trunk pans appear to be in good shape with just a little rust seen in the spare tire well, a very common problem area with these cars that is easily repaired. The body & paint are good with only a couple of small bubbles (please see photos for details) and all the trim pieces, bumpers & glass are in good condition. She's got dual sport mirrors and dual dummy spotlights for that cool fifties look. The two tone bronze & cream paint job looks great with the cats eye taillights and fins! She's also got radial tires, full wheel covers and fender skirts. Inside we have a mostly original interior in good condition. The dash has been repainted, the speedometer replaced with the digitial unit and the original AM radio has been replaced with an AM/FM radio and 10 disc CD changer. The original gauges have been bypassed in favor of the aftermarket gauge cluster and 12 volt outlet under the dash. The original fuel gauge works but only reads a 1/2 tank when the tank is full. This is a car you can get in and drive anytime. It starts right up and is 100% ready to go. It rides & drives great with a little vibration at around 45 miles per hour. Other than that I find no issues and have driven the car at 65 MPH with no problems. '59 Chevy's are in high demand and prices are rising. All vehicles are for sale at our facility. We reserve the right to stop the auction if vehicle sells prior to auction end.
Winning bidder must contact us within 24 hours of auction end to make payment arrangements. We require a non-refundable deposit of 10% through PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. Full payment is due no later than 7 days of auction end.
Buyer is responsible for shipping and all related charges, damages or disputes between buyer & shipper. We will do our best to be available at convenient times for vehicle pick-up. We encourage inspection of all vehicles and will work with you/your inspector to make vehicle available for inspections.
All financial & paperwork transactions must be completed before vehicles will be released.
