Due to a business related relocation I am forced to sell my beloved fun-days car.It is a 1976 Mercedes-Benz 450SL Convertible Roadster.It has two tops: hard-top and a soft-top.I am the second owner. I acquired the car locally in the Fall of 2009.I bought it from the original and the only owner. At that time it had 67800 miles.83085 is the mileage today.It was always well maintained and never was in any type of accident.Since I owned it I did regular oil changes, had spark plugs and wires done,a/c recharged, set of new tires installed (two years ago), brakes entirely redoneand a new exhaust system installed. The battery is one year old.I also had an aftermarket Sony radio installed (the original Becker radio will alsobe included in this sale).The car starts and runs like a dream, every time. There are absolutely no repairs needed, it is ready to be enjoyed right away.Everything works, including power locks, power windows, lights, horn, etc...This car was always garage kept and there is absolutely no rust of any kind anywhereon its undercarriage. It has also never been in any type of accident.The hard-top's headliner is like new. Soft-top was never used (I always preferred it's look with the hard-top on), therefore the plastic rear window has some discoloration(the canvas itself is strong, without stains or rips, like new).Carpets have some stains in them (last year I purchased a set of brand new OEM carpets for the car, I will include them in this sale).The color of the car is the original (and almost flawless, especially considering its age) andfactory Cypress Green Metallic (code 876 G). I have seen many greens but never one asbeautiful as this one.All chrome is absolutely perfect, glass too. Five years ago I paid $15000 for it. I drove it only as my weekend car.I know that the value is and will be going up (NADA average suggested value is $21400 !...).However, I cant take both cars with me. I am forced to sell it. My asking price is fair and I am still open to reasonable offers. Thank you for your consideration. Michael
