I'm selling my Eleanor. If you don't get that reference drop everything and go rent Gone in Sixty Seconds!!! A well taken care of 2001 Corvette, manual, coupe (has a removable glass targa top). The car is all stock, no ghetto mods or tacky changes. I bought it from an eye doctor who owned it ever since 10,000 miles. He put tons of miles on it going from one clinic to the other, all highway miles. He knew an airplane restoration guy who redid the leather seats and put real leather on the armrest. I bought it with high miles knowing I would have to put money into it, had the entire motor rebuilt thinking I would have the car forever, and I put 10,000 miles on it myself, and it's running great! The only thing I'd do to it is replace the clutch and the ABS light comes on intermittenly (common in C5's). Also had a brand new starter put in, did Mobil 1 oil changes, and took care of her like all my other Corvette enthusiast friends. Runs awesome, but I'm getting back into property management and I need a truck. I've heard you can fit eight 2x4's in a vette, but that's not going to cut it! I went to Corvette club meetings regularly and have been to the Corvette museum multiple times. I hope the car ends up into the hands of someone who will not only take great care of the car but will also enjoy it!!!
