We had our fun with this for two summers now it is time for the next owners to do the same! We need the garage space for another project so this car needs to go. After we purchased the car last spring, we went through it mechanically. We replaced the exhaust system, one of the exhaust manifolds and had the carburetor rebuilt. Four new white wall radials were also installed. All fluids drained and replaced as well and new battery installed. We also had work done to the top mechanism (new motor, relay and hoses) but the car will need a top. Heat and A/C inoperable (relay ?); compressor spins freely; never worried about either as we only drove top down in nice weather and kept in garage. The car is fairly well optioned; PW, Power top, Power bench seat, tilt wheel , rallye wheels and AM/FM radio. The interior presents well, chrome is decent and body is straight. Appears to have been repainted somewhere along the way but in its original color. Driver's side window motor needs to be replaced (I believe I have one and will throw it in with the car). No rust in the floors and I do not see any other visible rust. Engine bay in severe need of cleaning and detail. Car starts always and runs well; trans shifts nicely. Great winter project! Throw a new top on, detail the motor and you'll have a great driver! Car can be seen and driven in Northwester NJ by the convenience of an appointment.
