1973 Mercedes Benz 280 SEL 4.5 37,167 actual miles. Long wheel base w108 with 37k actual miles. Unrestored all original time capsule car !!! This vehicle still wears its original finish and still maintains a deep show room shine. All of the vehicles bright work is clear and bright. The all original glass is impeccably clean and rubber seals are near flawless all around. The vehicle still wears its original 14" Michelin tires which are date stamped 1972. All original Blue leather interior is amazingly clean with no tears tears or deep cracks to disclose. The leather is still very soft and supple. The vehicles seats are exceptionally firm and very supportive all around. As you would expect, the vehicle's dash is free of any cracks and the original wood is amazingly unblemished and still has a mirror like shine. Carpets are clean and stain free and all of the vehicles jambs are spotless. The interior of this vehicle is the best leather interior of any w108/w109 I have personally ever seen. The vehicle's trunks is completely rust free and its original unused Michelin spare tire and tools are still in its original bag. All books, and numerous service records from over the years are included with the sale of the vehicle. The engine bay is meticulously clean and original and the numbers on the original spark plug wires are still in place after 42 years of usage. Please look at the vehicles undercarriage photos, as it tells the true story about its limited fair weather usage. Numerous factory markings and factory paint is still present on both the engine and undercarriage components. To really appreciate the quality of this vehicle is to drive it. The 4.5 liter runs and drives beautifully with exceptional power and a silky smooth transmission. All of the vehicle power options function 100% and even the AC blows strong and cold. OEM becker stereo sounds great. Mechanically needs nothing, and I would drive this car anywhere with confidence (with new tires). Seeing is believing !!!
