Vehicle Detail
This auction is for an original 1987 Chevrolet Monte Carlo Super Sport. Sporting its original black and gold but weathered paint. Engine and transmission are installed but not hooked up. Car has 85,000 original miles. Car has never been in an accident and the body is super straight. A few dings but no dents or bodywork. 2 very small rust spots at rear corner of each t-top otherwise rust-free. Door locks and ignition switch need replacing but are included with purchase. Very nice solid project. Buyer responsible for shipping. $500.00 non-refundable deposit due at end of auction. Balance due in 7 days. Thanks for looking at my auction and good luck bidding! 3:42 Positraction rearend with swaybars and rear air bags. Both engines and the original transmission are included with original brackets and pulleys. Also includes all a/c components, factory exhaust manifolds and smog equipment. When I purchased the Monte Carlo the original engine had a rod knock. My friend had a rebuilt 1986 Monte Carlo short block which he put the heads, intake and accessories on from the original 1987 engine. It has never been fired and sitting in dry storage for many years. You will receive both the complete engine and the original block and crank. I do not know if the original 305 is rebuildable or not. Car also has rear window defogger and remote passenger side sport mirror. Purchase also includes original Fisher T-top bag and Goodyear space saver tire and jack. Please feel free to ask any questions. This will be a very nice car when restored.
